• Material: Biaxial and carbon inlays: Carbon and Kevlar are used to enhance the response and reduce the overall weight. Carbon gives lightweight response and energy while Kevlar adds toughness and smooth recoil.
• Multi core: Two distinct wood species combined to create a core that gives the most natural damping without sacrificing strength and flex. The first wood is strong and snappy; the second is light, damp and durable
• Hybritech construction:Hybritech is the most effective way to make a snowboard. It takes a cap tip and tail and blends it into a sidewall along the running surface. K2 takes the time to create complex molds and parts that bring these two features together. It gives you low swing weight and optimized turn initiation at the ends combined with durability and damping on the running surface. This design produces high-performance boards that excel across any variety of mountain terrain, snow conditions and riding styles
• Dual progressive sidecut: Built for riding forward and switch identically. A gentle radius in tip and tail meet in a tighter radius in the center so it tracks straight on transitions without compromising turn ability - the more you commit to a turn the quicker you accelerate through it
• 2000 extruded base: 25% higher molecular weight than our 1500 base, the Extruded 2000 is durable and highly wax absorbent. Fast, easy to repair and easier to tune
• Standard steel edges: Proven durability with one piece of steel wrapped around the entire perimeter of the board
• Recommended for: All-mountain - designed for any level of rider, the dual progressive sidecut is a mistake friendly, fun yet forgiving sidecut which allows for more consistent riding in all situations
