Light & Comfortable I am happy with the hat. It is very comfortable, great sun protection, and is to pack up.

Nice hat for the average head It's probable this hat will fit you well. It's good for backpacking as it's light and folds up to a negligible size. But, if you have an extraordinarily large head (mine is ~7+3/4 - maybe a bit larger?) the hat may leave a red mark across your forehead after extended wear. Bummmer.
